The Happy K Family

The fun and happy K family. We had a blast. It was so fun to capture this family's spirit. They were so glad to be outside and enjoying each other. It was super motivating to see how they interact with their cute kids. Made me want some, but only for a brief moment....;)

My Easter Skirt

Erin and I made these cute skirts at a class over in Mesa. We had the best time. BUT when I brought it home to try on for Montana-it fell all the way down to my ankles. So after a few revisions, it fits now!

More fun projects

A random week this week gave me 8 whole days off!!! Craziness. I made a to do list of like 40 things to accomplish and got everyone of them done except the study for test at work. Haha. Oh weel. Montana turned 27 this week a had issues feel like he was getting old. He only had one pity party about it, but realized how young he looks. That made him feel better. When I got the 40 done, I made these bibs and little blankies with burp clothes.

Too long.......

Forgive me for taking a break from blogging. I decided to not vocalize many thoughts during that time since life was so crazy with April and Logan moving to Turkey. My heart was so burdened and sad that I didn't want to be blogging about the sadness when there are worse things that could be happening. To me, it felt like the end of the world though. Anyways, a new leaf. Life is better than I had expected after them moving on. I decided to simplify this year and cut back on the "unnecessaries". It is saying that that word isn't a word, but in my house it has all been used. I don't know what else to say, but I am sure you get the point. Haha. A quick update on the past two months right quick. Montana and I started looking for houses and found this super retro house in Tempe that we LOVED. During this time of house hunting, our apartment lease was going up and due to sign another year. Lord forbid, we live in that apartment again with the weirdos having loud sex all the time and the marijuana that "aroma'd" that air all the time. No thanks. We moved in with my folks to save some moola. Two weeks later, Montana found out that SRP is downsizing meaning he is first to go since he is newest on board. Bummer. No worries. Two months later, we still live with the folks. It has been good to save money and pay off school loans. Ironically, I have to cook and clean more at their house than I EVER did at mine. Haha. This leads me to the next part in that I know this time is limited (or at least I hope so) with living with my family. So I am taking advantage of learning really appreciating my mom's mad skills. She is teaching me how to quilt which seems so old school, but I really like it. My mom's style is a bit more country and mine will always be a bit more contemporary. Case in point.......
