Tim and Faith Hill Concert

So I NEVER enter contests so I won't be let down, but one day while browsing the country radio station's web page, I decided too. All I had to do was send in a photo that expressed love and we got free tickets to Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill AND see them backstage!!! So I did. Unfortunately, I had to work at the hospital when the radio was going to announce the winners. For some reason, the laboring women wouldn't wait to have their babies so I could tune in to the station. Haha. Montana listened though as he sits at a computer for his job. Lo and behold, we won!! They called my name out! Crazy! So we had the best time watching them in the ABSOLUTE last row of the hockey arena in our matching radio station shirts!!!

48 more days...but who's counting?

Wow, I can't believe it's only 7 weeks until the big day we say "I do!" The last few months have been so full of eager anticipation, but now it's so close I can almost taste it. It's so close, and yet it seems like it's taking forever! I know it'll happen before we know it, though. I just can't wait. The next few weeks will probably find me going through an undulation of feeling excited with thoughts of "It's finally happening!!!" and feeling overwhelmed with thoughts of "Am I really ready for this?" But I know that the Lord has blessed me with an incredible bride, and I can't wait to see how He uses us to bless and encourage one another throughout the coming years. It's going to be such an awesome journey, and I'm so glad I get to take it on with such a wonderful partner. Honestly, I can't imagine going through the rest of my life with anyone else. I just hope that she'll be able to put up with me for that long! Dec 1 will be here so soon, and I just pray that the Lord will use the coming weeks to continue to prepare me to be the man that He's created for Aubrey, and to be the man that He wants me to be, for Him and for her. So, in 48 days, we'll be saying "I do" and with the Lord's help, we truly will.
